March 12: The Gong Show Story Time
At Screaming Octopus, I hold many roles — massage therapist, hypnotherapist, coach, Reiki Master Teacher, breathwork and sound facilitator.
What isn’t always visible on social media is another important facet of my work: I am also a Psychedelic Integration and Harm Reduction Coach.
Since 2022, I have been engaged in formal study, exploring the clinical, ethical, and therapeutic dimensions of psychedelic work. With over 20 years of experience guiding individuals through expanded states of consciousness, this path is not a departure — it is a natural continuation.
Sound was my first offering in the integration space in 2023. Vibration has a unique ability to help the nervous system settle, dismantle to remodel, process, and organize profound experiences. Insight alone is not enough; integration is what allows insight to become meaningful change.
By request, “The Gong Show” story time has returned — a structured sound session designed to support reflection and embodiment.
In this session, the phrase “come as you are” refers to an internal posture, not an external one. It is a way of being, not a way of doing.
It means arriving honestly in your current phase of integration — whether you are microdosing, working therapeutically with cannabis, preparing for or returning from ceremony, or processing another form of expanded-state work.
This space is not limited to psychedelic integration. It is also supportive for deep internal work of any kind — therapy, breathwork, yoga, meditation, or other practices that open and reorganize the psyche.
We enter in noble silence.
We sit in silence.
We leave in silence.
This container is intentional. Silence reduces external stimulation and allows you to remain with your internal process. Once seated, guidance will be offered for the direction of the session. Time is set aside afterward for journaling or quiet reflection to help anchor what surfaced during the sound experience.
This is not a space to arrive rushed, dysregulated, or in acute distress. It is a grounded container for those ready to explore, integrate, and experience sound as a narrative bridge — supporting the intention you bring into the room.
The work is subtle, but it is powerful.
You arrive ready to set attention.
The sound guides you and allows you to work deep within.
