IASTM Graston Technique

Cherise does IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) and is trained Level 1 Graston technique. Graston technique has similar benefits just like massage but has been identified as a technique that promotes quicker and improved outcome. The technique effects and benefits soft tissue mobilization using specific steel intruments and strokes. The tools allow the therapist to feel abnormal tissue texture. Combined with exercise this technique helps break up scar tissue found in fascia and muscles. With less restricting fascia the muscle is also provided good circulation and movement.. IASTM helps facilitate in quickening the healing process, increases the strength of the muscle fibers and reduces pain.

With this technique Cherise then provide Myofascial techniques, deep pressure to trigger including deep tissue to the muscles.
